Food Safety

Find out if the eggs in your fridge are some of the 228 million eggs that have been recalled due to salmonella.  Visit the link to the FDA’s news release in the FAQ at USA.gov to find out more.  You can sign up for email updates to receive current information about this and other food recalls at the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) recalls website.

Then drop by the Library; check out books about food safety with titles such as: Food safety, Food safety: a reference handbook, Is factory farming harming America?, Safe food: bacteria, biotechnology, and bioterrorism and Salmonella

Library Due Date

Check the due date on any materials that you borrowed from the library. All materials are due no later than December 19, 2008

MVC Library drop box

The drop box is located southwest of the front entrance of the Learning Resource Center; you can return books, DVDs, VHS and music Cd’s to the drop box when the library is closed, unless otherwise posted.
